DURELL SMITH Durell has been a familiar member of the local Edmonton music scene for over ten years, and has now began a new path into poetry. Recently releasing his first chapbook, he brings his appreciation of hyponotic drone into his atmospheric poetry reading.

IRA COOK + JESS TOLLESTRUP Ira is a young poet born and living on Treaty 6 land. She uses poetry to unpack the strange and painful ways she's learned to move through the world and to try to find better ones. Jess is a musician and spoken word poet from rural southern Alberta who uses a looping pedal to fuse guitar, vocal harmonies, piano, mouth percussion, and spoken word.
