Exploring Gender&Sexuality through Spoken Word Poetry Delve into your identity as we write about our experiences with gender and sexuality. Kay Kassirer will lead us through writing exercises to help us better understand ourselves and others. Come prepared to hear some personal stories, and share your own if you’d like. Think Outside the Music Box There is a very thin veil between spoken word poetry and music. Sometimes they are indistinguishable. This workshop will explore incorporating sound as accompaniment and companion to poetry, as well as breaking down what can be called a ’song'. No musical experience necessary."
